Our mission
At Dogs and Science, we are dedicated to unlocking the potential of canine science through rigorous research, effective communication, and practical applications. We bridge the gap between the scientific community and the public, making evidence-based knowledge accessible and promoting responsible dog ownership. Our mission fosters a dynamic exchange of knowledge between scientists and society, enriching the lives of both through mutual learning and shared experiences. By connecting science and society, we enhance the welfare of dogs and humans alike.
Our vision
Our vision is to become the global resource where people engage with canine science, and where canine scientists share their insights. We aim to be a space where canine science meets society, fostering a united exchange of knowledge. We aspire to support advancing and democratizing canine science, transforming how we understand and care for dogs through research, education, and advocacy. Our goal is to create a world where every interaction with dogs is guided by the latest scientific understanding, enhancing canine welfare and deepening the human-dog bond. We envision a society where scientific insights inspire community actions, and in turn, those actions drive further scientific discovery, creating a continuous cycle of knowledge and compassion.
